More than a decade ago, I made one of the best decisions of my life by leaving my successful twenty-year corporate career in Europe and bringing my young family across the Pond to America with a newborn on my lap. I exercised what I have since called the Power of Choice, a conscious decision-making framework that allows us to understand our perceptions, choose our behaviors, and determine our best outcomes.
Before stepping into the world of professional speaking, I was “one of you.” For twenty years, I navigated the corporate and meeting world, gaining an intimate understanding of its complexities. In my prior role as the head of an international management academy, I was responsible for hundreds of events—from small corporate sessions to large conferences, from in-person meetings to hybrid and virtual programs.
I’ve spent countless hours searching for the perfect speaker and understand firsthand the weight of that responsibility.

This groundbreaking achievement was recognized with the prestigious ESPRIT 2024 award by the International Live Events Association, alongside two 2024 Davey Awards from the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts for Best Speaker in Emerging Tech and Best Education in Emerging Tech, underscoring my commitment to delivering transformative and unforgettable audience experiences.

I am one of fewer than 12 percent of speakers worldwide who received the Certified Speaking Professional designation,13-time award winner, the author of “The Image of Leadership” that has expanded into a ten book series, “Discover Your Fair Advantage,” and the mind behind dozens of innovative online courses, including “How You Impress.”
When I am not working, I am volunteering with the National Speakers Association and the Global Speakers Federation. When I am not volunteering, I am cruising around on my boat in sunny Florida, or I am spending time with my two wonderful teenage children who test my emotional intelligence e.v.e.r.y single day.
“The Power of Choice” has been recognized by the International Live Events Association (ILEA) for its groundbreaking impact on the industry, earning the prestigious award for Best Technical Production in collaboration with the National Speakers Association (NSA) for its initial launch at their annual convention, Influence 2023.

The National Speakers Association Chair’s Award for Distinguished Service is bestowed upon individuals who have demonstrated exceptional support and dedication to the Chairman of the Board, the Board of Directors, and the overall advancement of association and its members.
The Beverly Babb Award for Extraordinary Service, granted by the Global Speakers Federation, recognizes a member who tirelessly works behind the scenes and contributes to the foundational growth of GSF and the associated member associations around the world.
This Award is a testament to unwavering dedication and support to the President, a recognition to those who go above and beyond for the betterment of NSA Central Florida, as well as an acknowledgment of the ‘Sylvie Di Giusto Scholarship.’
The Gedaliah Award, named after Robert Gedaliah and Rande Davis, recognizes the support, love and care a speaker shows behind the scenes for the speaking community and beyond.
The Alan Cimberg Award, named after one of the first and founding members of the National Speakers Association, recognize the life’s work of a speaker and their influence on the association and the speaking industry.
The Ron Volper Award, named after a past president of the National Speakers Association New York, recognized Sylvie for her commitment to excellence and for setting the standard for members, the chapter, and the speaking profession.
The Smart Hustle Entrepreneur of the Year Award recognizes business owners and champions who are leaders among entrepreneurs in the business community as they regularly demonstrate success while sharing with their peers.
The CSP™ (Certified Speaking Professional) designation is the speaking profession’s highest earned measure of professional platform competence. The CSP designation is conferred by the National Speakers Association.
The President’s Award for distinguished service, conferred by the national president of the National Speakers Association, recognizes superior professional engagement activities and extraordinary efforts for the speaking community.

The Chapter Member of the Year is awarded to a member of the New York City chapter of the National Speakers Association who has made a significant contribution to the chapter over a long period of time.
As such, Sylvie has had the honor to serve as the
