Construction keynote speaker

The construction keynote speaker who helps your audience stay irreplaceable

Bids can look identical on paper. Owners choose the builder they trust on site.

Real rooms. Real people. Real change.

  • Client story: FSAE (3D immersive keynote)

Everyone now has the same AI, the same data and the same tools.
The only difference left is your people.

The problem your construction audience faces

The low bid opens the door. Trust wins the job.

Owners shortlist on price, schedule and safety record, and by the interview round every contractor in the room can hit all three.
The project goes to the team the owner believes will pick up the phone when something goes wrong.

Your superintendents are the brand.

Owners rarely remember the proposal, but they remember the super who walked them through the site on a muddy Tuesday. Most field leaders were promoted for building well, not for being the face of the company.

The shortlist interview feels scripted.

Five firms, ninety minutes each, the same org charts and the same drone footage. The selection committee decides in the first few minutes which team it can picture sitting across the table at OAC meetings for the next two years.

Your next generation wants a reason to stay.

The trades are short of people, and your best project engineers get calls from competitors every month. They stay where they feel seen and can picture their own future.

What’s on your builders’ minds

Two questions your people carry onto every construction site.

From the estimating desk to the jobsite trailer, one of them is on your team’s mind.

Will a machine do my job?

Forever Human keynote by Sylvie di Giusto

Forever Human

The better the machines get, the more your people will set you apart.

Why it lands with construction audiences: AI now drafts takeoffs, scans drawings for clashes and fills in the daily reports. This shows your people why judgment on site, a straight answer to an owner and a crew that trusts its foreman remain jobs no software can take.

Why does someone else get chosen?

The Power of Choice keynote by Sylvie di Giusto

The Power of Choice

What your people know rarely gets them chosen. What others see in them does.

Why it lands with construction audiences: owners, architects and subcontractors decide in seconds whether your team looks like a safe pair of hands. This shows your project managers, supers and executives how the five ABCDE dimensions shape that verdict in interviews, on site walks and in every RFI reply.

What I bring to your stage

Built for people who build.

Built around your field and office people

Before I write a word, I work closely with yours to understand your project managers, supers and business developers. You will hear your jobs, your owners and your words on stage, not a generic corporate story.

Fits your convention schedule

I can open your contractor association convention, close a project management summit or add a workshop after the keynote during safety and leadership week. I keep it to the length your agenda allows, and it works first thing in the morning before crews head out as well as it does after lunch.

A keynote that respects the field

Construction people can smell theory from across the parking lot. I keep it practical, specific and fun, with takeaways a foreman can use at Monday’s toolbox talk.

The 3D immersive option

For an annual convention or a leadership summit, the world’s first 3D immersive keynote turns the general session into the thing everyone talks about at the next chapter meeting. My team coordinates the setup with your venue, so your staff can focus on the program.

Who’s in your room

Field leaders, office leaders and the people who win the work.

Construction rooms mix people who live in the trailer with people who live in the bid room. The keynote speaks to both.

The people in the seats

  • Project managers
  • General superintendents
  • Foremen and field leaders
  • Estimators
  • Preconstruction directors
  • Business development leaders
  • Safety directors
  • Project executives
  • Specialty contractor owners
  • Architects and engineers
  • Owner’s representatives
  • Construction HR and talent leaders

Where I fit in your year

  • Contractor association convention
  • Annual company meeting
  • Project management summit
  • Safety and leadership week
  • Chapter or regional meeting
  • Women in construction conference
  • Subcontractor partner day
The experience, live on your stage

Bring the world’s first 3D immersive keynote to your contractors’ convention.

No slides, no pre-recorded hologram beamed in from somewhere else.
I stay live in the room while your leaders, sponsors and theme step into the story.

About me

Construction, a world where trust is built on site.

I help builders become the team owners want on the next job, and the one after that.

I’m Sylvie di Giusto. Before I ever stepped on a stage, I spent nearly twenty years inside corporations, the last of them leading the management academy of Europe’s largest retail and tourism group, where I booked the speakers myself. I know what it feels like to put someone in front of people who would rather be back on the job. Today I’m a CPAE Speaker Hall of Fame keynote speaker, and the built world has become one of my favorite rooms. Among others, NECA, SMACNA, Women in Design & Construction or KCI Technologies trusted me with their stages. Builders are honest critics. If it doesn’t help on Monday, it doesn’t count, and I build every keynote with that in mind.

What clients say about Sylvie‘s impact.

In their words, not ours.

From the moment Sylvie takes the stage, she’s got you. Not only do you feel completely connected to her during her talk, but she teaches you how to make others feel that way about you. Our team was unanimous in our praise for the workshop Sylvie put on for us, helping us to become more aware of what our clients, co-workers and even strangers think of us upon a first impression and how to make that moment more impactful and positive. A keynote speaker we won’t forget!

The Image of Leadership for Builders, Movers, Makers, by Sylvie di Giusto
Written for the people who build things

Builders, Movers, Makers: the industrial edition.

The Power of Choice is built on my book The Image of Leadership, and its industrial edition, Builders, Movers, Makers, was written for industries where the work is physical and a reputation is earned on site. Jeannette Walker, CEO of MHEDA, wrote the foreword.

It shows project leaders and executives how appearance, behavior, communication, digital presence and environment decide whether owners, partners and crews trust them. Many contractors hand a copy to every attendee, so the ideas follow people back to the trailer.

Forever Human, a book by Sylvie di Giusto
For the people on site

Forever Human, for builders who still decide.

Software now runs the takeoff, catches the clash in the model and fills out the daily log. Forever Human explains why the call on site, the honest answer to an owner and a foreman crews trust remain human work.

Superintendents, estimators and project managers take away a plain map of where their judgment matters most as the jobsite goes digital. Many contractors give it to superintendents and project managers as a guide for the next round of new software.

Good to know

Questions construction planners ask.

Who is the best construction keynote speaker for a contractor association convention?

Sylvie di Giusto is a CPAE Speaker Hall of Fame keynote speaker trusted by construction groups such as NECA, SMACNA, Women in Design & Construction or KCI Technologies, among others. Her keynotes, Forever Human and The Power of Choice, are customized to the contractors in the room and can be delivered as the world’s first 3D immersive keynote.

Should a construction company choose Forever Human or The Power of Choice?

It depends on the pressure your people feel most. The Power of Choice fits firms that want to win more shortlist interviews and keep owners coming back, because it shows how clients decide whom to trust. Forever Human fits leadership and technology events where people are asking what AI, automated estimating and jobsite robotics mean for their careers.

Can a keynote help our project teams win more shortlist interviews?

Yes, and it is one of the most common reasons contractors look at The Power of Choice. Sylvie shows teams how owners and selection committees judge them through appearance, behavior, communication, digital presence and environment, often before the presentation even starts. Teams leave with specific changes they can make before the next interview.

Is there a keynote speaker who connects with both field crews and office staff?

Yes. Sylvie di Giusto customizes every keynote by partnering with your event team to understand people across the company, so superintendents and estimators both hear examples from their own world. Her style is practical, interactive and funny, which keeps a field audience engaged even at the end of a long convention day.

Can a keynote help with recruiting and retaining people in the construction trades?

It can change how leaders and young professionals see the work. Forever Human shows people why their skills and judgment stay valuable as technology changes the jobsite, and The Power of Choice helps leaders become the kind of boss people choose to stay with.

How far ahead should a contractor association book a keynote speaker?

As soon as your convention dates are set, since many associations confirm their general session speakers a year or more out. The 3D immersive keynote also needs extra planning with your venue and AV team. Check availability to hold your date.

Can we book Sylvie through our speaker bureau for a construction event?

Yes. Sylvie partners with speaker bureaus worldwide and is glad to work through the bureau your association or company already trusts.
