The revelation is part of the unique experience, a delightful unveiling reserved for when you arrive at the location. I ask for your trust in the carefully curated process that I undertake to assemble a group that is both harmonious and diverse—a blend of similarity and distinctiveness.
Depending on the group’s focus and needs, I often invite guest experts to contribute their insights. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to meet the students who benefit from your participation. Furthermore, you are welcome to invite your local Tampa/St. Pete/Clearwaters friends to join us for a “Family and Friends” barbecue on Wednesday evening.
Let’s talk. In the past, we’ve had groups where participants brought along a spouse or partner. The arrangement varied depending on the group’s dynamics and the retreat’s focus. Some spouses simply enjoyed the pleasant Florida winter, while we were at work. Others took a more active role, especially those who were involved in their partner’s business endeavors, contributing to discussions and activities.
No worries at all. A few weeks prior to the retreat, you will receive an onboarding form designed to gather important details about your dietary needs and preferences. I am committed to accommodating your dietary requirements to ensure that your experience at the retreat is not just valuable but also enjoyable.
While it’s not an official requirement, I truly hope you are—or will soon become—a member of this incredible community (or any other speaker association). Being connected to a professional network like this can provide invaluable support, growth opportunities, and a sense of belonging. Clearwater area, FL (40 minutes from Tampa airport, 30 minutes from St. Pete airport). You’ll be working, learning, and laughing together in a beautiful vacation rental home with separate bedrooms and bathrooms and joined workspaces. The home is just steps away from Clearwater Beach. The address will be provided to participants prior to the event.
Over the years, it has become evident that the atmosphere of a home significantly enhances the retreat experience. Living together under one roof, sharing meals, and having the space to learn and relax collectively cultivates a unique ambiance that goes beyond the formalities of a traditional hotel setting.
Your financial commitment for the 4-day retreat is a total of $3,500, which covers all living costs (including rent, meals, materials, etc.). This donation is not just a financial transaction; it’s a bold declaration of your commitment to a journey of growth. Your contribution secures your place and sets the wheels in motion for an event crafted with precision and care to exceed your expectations.
After covering all retreat-related costs and expenses, the remaining funds will be directed toward the NSA Central Florida University Scholarship, supporting aspiring speakers who may lack the financial resources to advance their careers. This scholarship funds a year-long speaker university program and includes my personal mentoring to help recipients jumpstart their speaking journey.
Will you have to sign a contract? The simple answer is no. Do I have an in-depth cancellation policy? Again, no.
This retreat is built on mutual trust and understanding. Life can throw unexpected challenges our way—whether it’s professional obligations or personal emergencies. What unfolds after the retreat is entirely in the hands of the group itself. Each cohort uniquely shapes their post-retreat journey.
