By researching your audience’s cultural context, I deliver an engaging, appropriate, and relevant talk. A global event requires careful preparation, so it is essential not to make assumptions or stereotypes about countries. To provide accurate information about each country’s culture, customs, and norms, it is crucial to conduct thorough research.
I use language appropriate for a global audience that will connect with people from all corners of the world. I avoid using polarizing or obscure examples, religious or political references, slang, or idioms in my talks, as well as making assumptions or stereotypes about countries or cultures.
My value and content are the same worldwide, so I do not charge extra for international engagements, unlike other speakers. For your convenience, I’ll charge a flat travel fee that covers airfare, rebookings, cancellations, ground transportation, meals, and incidentals. The only thing I require from you is a booking in a hotel of your choice; preferably the event location billed to your master account. As well as help with any visa-related paperwork, if necessary.
International travel can be unpredictable, so I always arrive early to ensure that I’m there for your event – no matter what. As part of my commitment to providing an engaging and inspiring talk, I will stick around after the event to answer any questions your attendees may have.
This includes everything from dress code to time limits or Covid-related restrictions. While requirements and regulations are different for each client or country, I want you to know that I am fully vaccinated against the coronavirus, have received two booster shots, and I am happy to get tested before, during, or after your event and will follow all your guidelines and requirements.
