Throughout my career as a keynote speaker, the National Speakers Association and its members have greatly influenced my success. I am eternally grateful for the knowledge, insights, skills, and business advice I’ve gained. But most of all, for the friendships I’ve made. Being part of such a fantastic community, including my NSA home chapter Central Florida, makes me feel immensely privileged and proud. I am thankful for the opportunity to contribute and give back to this organization and our chapter by establishing this scholarship.
This scholarship is a testament to the power of NSA and its ability to change lives for the better. I’m humbled to be able to give back and help a new group of speakers get started in their speaking careers.
The Sylvie di Giusto Speakers Academy Scholarship is for aspiring speakers who are interested in building a professional speaking business but lack the funds to get the education and training necessary. The scholarship will cover the full tuition for the 10-month program and membership to the NSA Central Florida chapter, along with all chapter meetings. Additionally, I will mentor the recipients and share my knowledge, experience, and network.
I want to thank the NSA Central Florida leadership for supporting this endeavor and the scholarship committee comprised of selected members who draft submission rules, ensure procedural fairness, and evaluate applications to select the most qualified candidates for this opportunity.
I am passionate about this association and care about its members. Being able to pay forward and pass along what I have learned and gained from NSA to future generations of speakers is a privilege and responsibility I don’t take lightly.

Sylvie’s passion for this industry, NSA and its members can be seen in her constant support of associations throughout the globe. In addition to serving as the President of NSA New York, she has planned, executed, and co-hosted NSA‘s national Winter Conference 2018, “The Future of Speaking,” as well as NSA’s Annual Conference 2020, “Influence.”
She is a member of NSA Central Florida, where she also funds a Scholarship Program for the Speakers Academy program, helping future generations of speakers achieve their dreams. Her scholarship is a testament to the power of NSA and its ability to change lives for the better.
Currently, she serves on the Board of the Global Speakers Federation which supports 17 speakers associations around the world, including the National Speakers Association which she represents.
After presenting to more than two dozen chapters of NSA and several member associations of the Global Speakers Federations, she started to support chapters of NSA by hosting exclusive mastermind retreats in sunny Florida, the beautiful place she is lucky to call her home.
Sylvie is also the recipient of GSF’s 2023 Beverly Babb Award for Extraordinary Service, NSA’s 2023 Chair’s Award for Distinguished Service, 2023 President’s Outstanding Service Award, 2022 Gedaliah Award, the 2020 Alan Cimberg Award, the 2019 Ron Volper Presidential Service Award, the 2018 President’s for Distinguished Service Award, the 2018 Future of Speaking Service Award and the 2016 Member of the Year Award.
Sylvie cares about these associations and their members. Being able to pay forward and pass along what she has learned to current and future generations of speakers is a privilege and responsibility she doesn’t take lightly.
But Sylvie’s dedication and philanthropic spirit do not stand alone. She is joined by a remarkable community of fellow speakers, each contributing in to this cause. Participants of the speaker mastermind retreats, which Sylvie hosts each year in sunny Florida, have generously allocated the remaining funds from their financial contributions to support this initiative. Sylvie is deeply grateful for this incredible support, as it not only sustains the program but also opens avenues for potential expansion. It’s a testament to the spirit of the National Speakers Association and an embodiment of the belief that by lifting others, we rise together.
