For nearly ten years, I have been hosting these mastermind retreats. I have never earned a dime from them. What I have earned instead is the trust of dozens of speakers who chose to step away from their routines, their businesses, and their comfort zones to do some of the most honest work of their careers.
I know exactly what I am asking of you. I am asking you to block meaningful time on your calendar, step away from your business and loved ones, join a group of peers you don’t know, and commit financially to an experience with an unknown agenda. That takes courage. And I don’t take that lightly.
Here is why I do it this way.

Each year, I receive dozens of applications, more than sixty last year alone. To help you decide whether this experience is right for you, here are a few markers to consider.

This mastermind retreat is NOT for you if you
In addition to covering your travel expenses and dedicating your time, a one-time contribution of $3,800 is required to participate in the retreat. This is not a fee. It covers your living costs, and all remaining proceeds will be donated.
The next two groups are especially meaningful. Depending on the retreat you attend, all remaining proceeds are donated to one of two causes. One group will contribute to Work Meaningful Foundation, a nonprofit founded by one of our own NSA colleagues and past participants, dedicated to supporting underserved communities in Ghana. The other group will contribute, as in previous years, to the Sylvie di Giusto Scholarship Fund, supporting aspiring professionals who are entering our industry but lack the financial resources to attend the NSA Central Florida Speaker Academy program.

Sylvie di Giusto, CSP CPAE helps individuals and companies around the world explore how people make up their minds very quickly about them and either open the door for them or slam it shut.
She is a Hall of Fame Speaker, Certified Speaking Professional™, the author of “The Image of Leadership” and “Fair Advantage” as well as the mind behind dozens of online courses, including her own mobile learning lab “How You Impress.”
Her passion for this industry, NSA, and its members can be seen in her constant support of associations throughout the globe. In addition to serving as the President of NSA New York, she has planned, executed, and co-hosted NSA’s Winter Conference 2018, “The Future of Speaking,” as well as NSA’s Annual Conference 2020 and 2025, “Influence.” She is a member of NSA Central Florida, where she also funds a Scholarship Program for the Speakers Academy program, helping future generations of speakers achieve their dreams.
She served on the Board of the Global Speakers Federation, and after presenting to more than two dozen chapters of NSA and several member associations of the Global Speakers Federation, she started to support chapters of NSA by hosting exclusive mastermind retreats in sunny Florida, the beautiful place she is lucky to call her home.
