Although it’s difficult to resist the temptation, you may have already realized it’s not only fun and rewarding but also highly competitive, challenging, scary, and exhilarating at the same time. It requires hard work, perseverance, dedication, and, of course, a bit of luck. And it doesn’t suffice to be passionate about your topic and confident about your ability to present.

are not willing to put in the work, time, and dedication necessary to make it after leaving the retreat.

Along with your travel expenses, time, and dedication, a one-time donation of $2,200 is required to participate in the retreat. All profits will be donated to the NSA Central Florida Speaker University, a community near and dear to my heart that continues to support speakers on their journey toward success. The proceeds from this group will go towards the Scholarship program that I have established and that supports two students per year, who would like to enter our industry but don’t have the financial means to attend the academy program.

To ensure everyone gets the best outcome, applicants will be vetted by the host and grouped according to their skill sets, experiences, and expectations.

have a focus in your business on keynote speaking or training

make a financial contribution that will cover costs of living (proceeds will be donated)
attend all four days in person and commit to full attendance and attention to the group
be willing to learn from others and share truthfully what has helped or hindered you grow your business
commit to absolute confidentiality about the topics discussed within and beyond this retreat
understand that if your application is denied, it has nothing to do with you personally and rather with the group constellation
follow the agenda and guidance of your host and facilitator who put together a program that will ensure every participant gets the same attention
be fun, be honest, be open-minded and a good human being

WHO WILL BE YOUR HOST AND FACILITATOR?

SYLVIE DI GIUSTO, CSP

Sylvie di Giusto, CSP helps individuals and companies around the world explore how people make up their minds very quickly about them and either open the door for them or slam it shut.

She is a Certified Speaking Professional, the author of “The Image of Leadership” and her newest book “Fair Advantage” as well as the mind behind dozens of online courses, including her own mobile learning lab “How You Impress.”

Her passion for this industry, NSA, and its members can be seen in her constant support of associations throughout the globe. In addition to serving as the President of NSA New York, she has planned, executed, and co-hosted NSA’s Winter Conference 2018, “The Future of Speaking,” as well as NSA’s Annual Conference 2020, “Influence.” She is a member of NSA Central Florida, where she also funds a Scholarship Program for the Speakers Academy program, helping future generations of speakers achieve their dreams.

Currently, she serves on the Board of the Global Speakers Federation, which supports 17 speaker associations around the world. After presenting to more than two dozen chapters of NSA and several member associations of the Global Speakers Federations, she started to support chapters of NSA by hosting exclusive mastermind retreats in sunny Florida, the beautiful place she is lucky to call her home.
