Are Hologram Speakers the Future of Conferences?

Women leaders are at the forefront—driving innovation, fostering growth, and breaking barriers in every industry imaginable. As a women speaker deeply committed to supporting their journey, it was an absolute honor to take the stage at the Women Presidents Organization (WPO) Entrepreneurial Excellence Forum. I had the privilege of addressing a remarkable community of trailblazers—women who run multi-million-dollar companies, disrupt the status quo, and boldly shape the future. These are not just executives. They are visionaries, and being invited to speak with them was both humbling and empowering.

As a former corporate leader and now founder of my own business, I understand the unique blend of opportunity and challenge that comes with leading as a woman. At this transformative event, I shared my insights on how intentional choices can elevate leadership presence, strengthen client relationships, and create sustained success.

Key Takeaways

  • WPO modeled bold innovation by selecting a women speaker who defied expectations, proving that a women speaker can lead with both substance and surprise.
  • A women speaker who steps beyond the ordinary inspires women leaders to lead with courage, showing how a women speaker can embody the bravery they admire.
  • Immersive experiences leave a lasting impact when delivered by a women speaker whose message is both visually powerful and emotionally resonant as a women speaker.
  • Choosing a women speaker who brings something extraordinary delivers real ROI, because a women speaker can shift conversations and spark lasting engagement.
  • A women speaker transforms an event into a movement by helping women leaders rise together—and no women speaker does that by playing it safe.

Celebrating the WPO Community

The Women Presidents Organization (WPO) is more than a network—it’s a global force. Bringing together women presidents, CEOs, and entrepreneurs from multimillion-dollar companies, WPO fosters a powerful community rooted in connection, shared wisdom, and fearless ambition. These women are rewriting the rules of leadership by supporting one another, scaling globally, and holding open the door for the next generation.

At the helm of this extraordinary organization is Camille Burns, CEO of WPO. With vision and warmth, Camille and her incredible team created an event that wasn’t just flawlessly executed—it was profoundly meaningful. From the moment I arrived, I felt the intention behind every element of the experience, and that intention made all the difference.

And then there were two personal highlights that stood out to me:

I had the honor of launching the newest special edition of my book, The Image of Leadership for Women, which includes a powerful foreword written by Camille herself. Her words reflect both the mission of WPO and the heart behind its leadership.

And, In the closing moments of the event, Camille joined me on stage—stepping into the unknown, quite literally—as we created a surprise immersive experience for her. It was a moment of trust, creativity, and courage, demonstrating in real time what it looks like when leaders lead from the front.

To every woman in that room: you reminded me why I love this work. You are evidence that ambition and empathy are not mutually exclusive, and that leadership doesn’t need to follow a script—it can be rewritten by each of us, in our own bold way. As a women speaker, I know that what truly changes the world isn’t a single voice—it’s a room full of women who choose to show up, speak up, and rise together.

The Power of Intentional Choices

During my keynote, we explored how intentional choices—across appearance, behavior, communication, digital presence, and environment—can become game-changing tools for women leaders who want to leave a meaningful mark.

Appearance: Projecting Confidence and Competence

How we show up matters. As a women speaker, I know that our appearance often speaks before we do. And for women leaders, that first impression can influence how we’re perceived and what opportunities come our way. Intentional choices in how we dress, groom, accessorize, and present ourselves aren’t about fitting a mold. They’re about aligning our outer image with the leadership qualities we want to communicate—confidence, professionalism, and individuality. When we do, we gain more than just visual polish. We gain trust and credibility before we say a word.

Behavior: Commanding Presence and Respect

Our behavior—especially in high-stakes or informal moments—can amplify or dilute our leadership. It’s not just about what we say, but how we carry ourselves: posture, eye contact, gestures, tone. In my work as a women speaker, I’ve seen how even small adjustments in attitude, charisma or etiquette can shift perception dramatically. Whether leading a board meeting or networking at a conference, our presence should speak of self-awareness, control, and calm authority. It’s not about acting differently—it’s about being intentional and authentic in every interaction.

Communication: Crafting Compelling Narratives

Words are powerful tools. As women leaders, the way we communicate—especially when storytelling—is often the key to inspiring teams, persuading stakeholders, and creating alignment. Intentional communication involves tailoring our language to the audience, speaking with clarity, and embracing confidence in our voice. As a women speaker, I model this on stage, but it’s something every leader can master: sharing stories that resonate, messages that mobilize, and conversations that build trust.

Digital Presence: Amplifying Voice and Influence

We no longer live in a world where your professional reputation ends at your office door. Your digital footprint tells a story, too. Curating your online presence—through LinkedIn, company pages, media appearances, or thought leadership content—is a key part of leadership today. As a women speaker, I emphasize that this is not just about visibility. It’s about credibility. Are you showing up online with the same strength and purpose you bring to the boardroom? If not, it’s time to make some intentional choices.

Environment: Cultivating Spaces that Empower

The spaces we work and lead in—both physical and digital—affect our energy, creativity, and focus. Whether it’s your office setup, virtual meeting presence, or the people you surround yourself with, your environment says something about what you value. As women leaders, we must intentionally shape environments that inspire us and those we lead. And as a women speaker, I remind audiences that these micro-environments are often where culture, innovation, and connection are truly formed.

When we show up intentionally—in how we look, act, speak, connect, and lead—we unlock our full potential. At the WPO Forum, I reminded attendees: You already have the tools. My role, as a women speaker, is to help you see them, use them, and elevate them with confidence. The power of choice isn’t about becoming someone else. It’s about becoming more of who we already are.

Empowering Women Leaders: A Call to Action

The WPO Entrepreneurial Excellence Forum wasn’t just a conference. It was a collective reminder of the kind of leadership the world needs—leadership that is intentional, authentic, and unapologetically bold. And if there’s one thing I’ve learned—both as a woman leader and a women speaker—it’s that empowerment doesn’t come from what we know. It comes from what we choose.

So, here’s my call to every woman reading this:

Make intentional choices that align with who you are and who you’re becoming. From the way you show up visually to the way you speak, lead, connect, and command a room—every choice tells a story. Make sure it’s one that reflects the depth, courage, and value you bring.

Release the perfection myth. Perfection is not a leadership strategy—it’s a barrier. The pursuit of flawlessness often keeps us from showing up at all. What your clients, teams, and peers need most is your clarity, your confidence, and your willingness to lead even when the path isn’t fully clear.

Invest in community. Success can feel lonely at the top—but it doesn’t have to be. Organizations like WPO prove that when women gather, support each other, and share wisdom without competition, we all rise higher. Your network can be your greatest source of growth, strength, and perspective.

Choose discomfort—on purpose. Growth rarely happens inside the comfort zone. Look for opportunities that make your heart race a little. Step onto that stage. Raise your rates. Launch the idea. Say yes to what scares you, and trust that bravery is a muscle you strengthen by using it.

And finally, remember this: You don’t have to lead like anyone else. You don’t have to follow the rules that weren’t written with you in mind. And you don’t have to wait for someone to tell you it’s your turn. It already is.

As a women speaker, I’ve had the privilege of standing before thousands of extraordinary women—CEOs, founders, disruptors, and quiet revolutionaries alike. And every time, I leave with the same conviction: The future isn’t waiting to be built. It’s already being shaped by women who are willing to choose intention over inertia, presence over perfection, and power over permission. So take up your space. Make your move. Speak your truth. Because the world isn’t changed by what we say we might do. It’s changed by what we choose to do—on purpose.

Ordinary Doesn’t Inspire. Brave Women Leaders Do.

Extraordinary leadership doesn’t come from doing what’s been done before. It comes from making bold decisions, embracing discomfort, and turning routine moments into transformational ones. That’s what women leaders are called to do—not just in their businesses, but in the way they show up at events, in rooms, and on stages.

The Women Presidents Organization exemplified this kind of leadership at their Entrepreneurial Excellence Forum. They didn’t just talk about innovation. They lived it. Rather than closing their event with the standard farewell speech and traditional keynote, they made a bold choice to do something different—something immersive.

They reimagined what a closing keynote could be. With the support of Camille Burns and her visionary team, the event closed not with formality, but with feeling. With risk. With wonder. Camille stepped on stage and into the unknown—literally joining me in a 3D immersive environment where we sent off attendees not just with words, but with an experience designed to signal: this was not be business as usual. This was something extraordinary.

And this wasn’t just about theatrics. It was about modeling what brave leadership looks like in real time. It was a commitment to offering attendees not just information, but transformation. And that only happens when we’re willing to step beyond what’s safe and into what’s possible.

As women leaders, we often wait until we’re certain, until it’s perfect, until we’re sure it will be well received. But progress doesn’t happen in certainty. It happens in motion. The WPO team showed what’s possible when we let go of what’s expected and lean fully into what’s extraordinary.

They didn’t just organize an event. They made a statement. And for me, as a women speaker, there’s no greater privilege than being part of a moment where bold women make bold choices—and inspire others to do the same.

The ROI of Doing Something Extraordinary

There’s a reason we remember the bold decisions—not the expected ones. In business, the return on investment is rarely found in playing it safe. For women leaders especially, the ROI of doing something extraordinary lies in visibility, credibility, and influence. When you step into boldness, you don’t just lead—you expand what leadership looks like.

Whether it’s introducing a new offering, disrupting a legacy system, or standing in a room and saying something others haven’t dared to, brave choices don’t just earn attention—they earn trust. They challenge norms, inspire teams, and accelerate growth because they prove you’re not just managing—you’re leading.

That same principle applies not just to leadership, but to the choices organizations make about how they gather, learn, and engage. And that’s exactly what the Women Presidents Organization did. By choosing to introduce an immersive experience—and a holographic speaker—at their Entrepreneurial Excellence Forum, WPO didn’t just schedule a keynote. They made a strategic, intentional choice to give their members something they didn’t expect but absolutely deserved: a moment of wonder, emotional resonance, and transformation.

So why did this keynote stick?

Because it felt different. It broke the pattern. It disrupted the usual cadence of events and asked attendees to not just listen—but experience. The visuals weren’t just stunning. They were purposeful. The message wasn’t just spoken. It was lived on stage. And because of that, it landed more deeply and lasted longer in the minds of those in the room. The ROI?

Engagement skyrocketed. Attendees weren’t just consuming information; they were immersed in it.

Conversations shifted. The experience sparked dialogue—not only about what they saw, but what it meant for their own leadership.

The brand elevated. WPO sent a clear signal: this is an organization that leads from the front, embraces innovation, and gives its members experiences as extraordinary as they are.

The learning lasted. Because immersive learning isn’t about passive reception. It’s about emotional imprint. When you feel something, you remember it. And when you remember it, you act on it.

In a world full of noise, extraordinary stands out. And for organizations who want to deliver long-term value—not just moments of applause—investing in immersive, emotionally intelligent experiences is more than a creative choice. It’s a strategic one.
